“That’s a bit much.”常见于澳洲和英国口语，不是“数量有点多”，而是要求、行为或情形已过分、不合理或难以承受。比如同事临近下班才要求当天重做整份报告，可以说：“That’s a bit much. Can we finish it tomorrow instead?” 这里的a bit缓和批评，却没有取消不满；语调很重时仍会显得尖锐。美国英语也能听懂，并非澳洲独有。若只想说份量太大，应明确说“That’s a bit too much food.”
