“I’ll Flick You an Email” Means “I’ll Send You One”

“I'll flick you an email.”就是“我发封邮件给你”

在澳洲日常英语里,flick 不只表示“轻弹”。“I'll flick you an email.”就是“我给你发封邮件”,往往带有顺手、很快发过去的轻松语气。ABC 的报道中也可见 “ask them to flick you an email” 和 “they flick you an email” 这样的真实用法。

它适合熟悉的同事、朋友或不太正式的工作沟通,并不表示敷衍。较正式的信件里,用 send 更稳妥。可以直接说:“Flick me the details when you get a chance.”——“你方便时把详情发给我。”
