在澳洲日常英语里，flick 不只表示“轻弹”。“I'll flick you an email.”就是“我给你发封邮件”，往往带有顺手、很快发过去的轻松语气。ABC 的报道中也可见 “ask them to flick you an email” 和 “they flick you an email” 这样的真实用法。
它适合熟悉的同事、朋友或不太正式的工作沟通，并不表示敷衍。较正式的信件里，用 send 更稳妥。可以直接说：“Flick me the details when you get a chance.”——“你方便时把详情发给我。”
