“The common human fault is to be blinded by one partial view and left unable to see the larger pattern.” The line comes from Xunzi's “Dispelling Obsession”. Here, “one curve” means a limited or one-sided angle, while the surrounding passage considers how desire and aversion, beginning and end, or past and present can obscure one another.
Xunzi is not saying that every partial experience is false. A viewpoint may contain truth and still distort judgement when it is mistaken for the whole. A restrained modern response is not to imagine that we can have no standpoint, but to seek evidence and perspectives capable of limiting and correcting the one we currently occupy.
