Anthropic releases Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion in beta
Anthropic released Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion in beta on 8 October and removed the beta label from Claude Docs, Claude Slides and Claude Design. Dashboards is available in beta on paid plans. It can connect to data sources including BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake and Salesforce, then turn the data into refreshable interactive dashboards. Users can inspect the underlying query, data source and freshness, and hand the result to existing business-intelligence tools. The available material confirms these connectors and workflows; it is not an independent evaluation of calculation accuracy or data-pipeline reliability.
Motion is currently in beta for Team and Enterprise plans only. It converts prompts, documents, slides or images into code-built animations that remain editable and can be exported as MP4 files. Anthropic says it is not a video-generation model and does not create people or generated footage. The public evidence currently covers product functions and access conditions, with no independent performance reproduction.
Compared with their earlier beta status, Docs, Slides and Design are now generally available on every Claude plan, including Free. Enterprise capabilities include customer-managed encryption keys, administrator controls for templates, real-time collaboration, external sharing when administrators permit it, and exports including PowerPoint, PDF and Google Slides. Dashboards and Motion are off by default in Enterprise workspaces. Administrators can enable Docs, Slides and Design immediately, and Anthropic plans to switch them on by default on 15 October. The standalone Claude Design site remains available until 14 December; team design systems require migration, while existing comments and chats will not transfer automatically. Reuters independently confirmed the beta and general-availability states but did not report third-party testing of output accuracy or animation quality.
