\u56e0\u4e3a\u76f8\u4fe1\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6765\u81ea\u4e16\u4fd7\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u7126\u8651\u5c31\u5927\u5927\u7684\u51cf\u8f7b\u4e86\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u76f8\u4fe1\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u5bf9\u4ed6\u4eba\u7684\u7231\u5c31\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u6761\u4ef6\u4e86\u3002\u7231\u670b\u53cb\u7231\u4ed6\u4eba\u4e0d\u518d\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u5229\u76ca\u4ea4\u6362\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u7531\u5185\u5230\u5916\u7684\u81ea\u7136\u800c\u7136\u7684\u884c\u4e3a\uff0c\u7231\u522b\u4eba\u8d8a\u591a\u81ea\u5df1\u8d8a\u5feb\u4e50\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e5f\u8bb8\u57fa\u7763\u6559\u6b63\u662f\u4f9d\u8d56\u4e8e\u8fd9\u4e9b\u795e\u8ff9\uff0c\u4f7f\u5f97\u4fe1\u5f92\u5728\u4e00\u5b9a\u7a0b\u5ea6\u4e0a\u4f9d\u9760\u4e0a\u5e1d\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u662f\u4f9d\u9760\u4e16\u4fd7\u4e16\u754c\uff0c\u4f7f\u751f\u547d\u7684\u91cd\u5fc3\u6446\u8131\u4e16\u4fd7\u7684\u7f81\u7eca\u3002\u5c31\u662f\u8981\u901a\u8fc7\u8fd9\u79cd\u53cd\u5e38\u8bc6\u7684\u795e\u8ff9\uff0c\u63d0\u9192\u4fe1\u5f92\u4e0d\u8981\u8fc7\u6df1\u8fc7\u591a\u7684\u9677\u5165\u4e16\u4fd7\u7684\u5e38\u8bc6\u5f53\u4e2d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Do I Have a Continuous Interest in Christianity?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always been skeptical about the miracle of Jesus\u2019 resurrection, so I am not a devout Christian. Yet why do I still maintain a lasting interest in Christianity? It is not because I want to prove the authenticity of miracles, nor because I want to enter heaven, but rather because of a puzzling phenomenon that has troubled me for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christianity has a long history, with many denominations, leaving different impressions on different people. But in my own experience over nearly twenty years, I have found my Christian friends to be extraordinarily kind, and their personal lives and work to be more harmonious and fulfilling. This does not mean that my non-Christian friends are unkind or that their lives and work lack harmony and fulfillment. But when placed side by side, the difference is striking. I am certain this is not a coincidence\u2014it is the influence of Christian faith at work. And yet I have never understood why this faith produces such effects. That confusion is precisely the reason for my continuing interest in Christianity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If my Christian friends had shown no difference from others, I would certainly not be so persistent in studying Christianity, because the miracles themselves are too difficult for me to accept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, I began a new experiment: reading the New Testament, Kant\u2019s philosophical works, and Laozi\u2019s Dao De Jing side by side. Suddenly, I had a new thought, a fresh perspective that might help unravel the puzzle that has troubled me for so long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, I read these books a long time ago, and some of them I\u2019ve even read many times. But this is the first time I\u2019m reading them all at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I keep reading the works of a single author for a period of time, my thinking tends to sink into their atmosphere. But if I read the works of several completely different authors at the same time, I constantly gain a sense of perspective and reminders\u2014and sometimes, sparks of inspiration emerge.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I should not cling to rational explanations of Jesus\u2019 miracles, nor should I treat those miracles as the direct cause of my Christian friends\u2019 kindness and harmony. It is clear that the rational path cannot succeed here. Their kindness and harmony do not come from miracles, but rather from the way Christian faith helps believers transcend, at least to some degree, the limitations and burdens of worldly life. It is this distance between the sacred life and the secular life that has an effect, not the miracles themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In truth, religious faith is not a form of intellectual training but a way of life\u2014a way of being. For friends who have practiced their faith for many years, their words and actions, their modes of thought and patterns of behavior have acquired a certain sacred quality. Their thoughts and conduct seem more aligned with the deeper laws of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because they believe in God, the anxieties of worldly life are greatly reduced. Because they believe in God, their love for others needs no conditions. Loving friends and others is no longer an exchange of interests but a natural, spontaneous act. The more they love, the happier they themselves become.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their religious faith seems to enable them to transcend the limits of reason as described by Kant. While this does not mean a direct entry into the realm of the noumenal, in practical life they nonetheless undergo a kind of shaping or cultivation that comes from a \u201ctranscendent\u201d dimension. This formation endows their thoughts and actions with a depth and harmony that go beyond empirical reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then comes a more difficult problem, one that seems impossible to solve. If the sacred life of believers benefits them so much, why does their faith not involve miracles that are rationally acceptable? Of course, a miracle that fits rationality would no longer be a miracle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps Christianity relies precisely on such miracles, so that believers learn to depend on God rather than the secular world, thus freeing their lives from worldly attachments. These counter-intuitive miracles serve as reminders, urging believers not to sink too deeply into worldly common sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
