One may be wise but is greatly deluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who hold onto it will lose it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the sage does not act, and so does not ruin;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does not hold, and so does not lose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some things lead, some follow;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some breathe out, some breathe in;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some are strong, some are weak;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some are carried, some are destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the sage avoids excess, extravagance, and pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is called being against Dao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is against Dao soon perishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
